In Pecherskyi district, a five-story residential building was hit; in Solomianskyi, a nine-story building sustained damage; and in Obolonskyi, a residential building partially collapsed. Additionally, in Shevchenkivskyi district, several civilian infrastructure targets, including a market and grocery store, were struck. A 25-story residential high-rise was also impacted.
Following the attacks, power lines in northern Kyiv were damaged, resulting in an electricity outage affecting approximately 140,000 subscribers, as reported by Mayor Klitschko.
Human Impact and Emergency Response
The human cost of these attacks has been severe. Amid rescue operations, five firefighters were killed while extinguishing fires caused by the missile strikes, and at least five others were injured. The Ministry of Internal Affairs highlighted the risks emergency personnel face during such attacks.
