On the night of June 20–21, drone attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted Russian-annexed Crimea, resulting in significant damage to critical infrastructure. Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Russian-appointed governor of Sevastopol, confirmed that military units were actively repelling the Ukrainian drone assault, deploying both air defense systems and mobile fire groups. "The military is working to destroy enemy UAVs using various weapons, including small arms," Razvozhaev stated.

Telegram channels monitoring the situation reported a fire at the TPP Terminal in the Kerch industrial zone. This complex serves as a railway transshipment and storage facility for petroleum products and liquefied gas. There are also indications that the Port Kavkaz area may have been affected.

Other incidents include fires in the settlement of Kurortnoe, where an air defense site is located, and in the vicinity of military unit No. 98546 near Kerch. Earlier, on June 20, a mass drone attack resulted in multiple fires across Crimea, affecting the Tavricheskaya Thermal Power Station, oil and gas storage facilities, as well as gas distribution stations and several bridges and crossings.
