On the night of June 23, Russian military forces executed a missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, according to regional authorities. The attack resulted in damage to multiple civilian structures, including two residential houses, agricultural buildings, and a gas station. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (OVA), confirmed the strike and detailed the extent of the damage. Several private homes and farm buildings were hit, causing fires in some residences. Emergency services responded promptly and extinguished the fires.
"Two injured individuals, a 73-year-old man and woman, received medical treatment following the strike," Fedorov reported, emphasizing uncertainty regarding additional casualties.
As of the publication, authorities have not disclosed the specific types of weaponry used in the attack. Fedorov had previously warned of potential use of guided aerial bombs in the region.

On the same night, Igor Terekhov, Mayor of Kharkiv, reported that two missiles struck the Slobidsky district in the southeastern part of the city. Later clarifications indicated that the impact occurred outside Kharkiv's city limits. Terekhov also noted the movement of a group of Russian strike drones toward the city. Shortly thereafter, a Russian-launched "Molniya" drone reportedly was intercepted in Kharkiv's Kievsky district. Officials are currently assessing the full extent of the damage.
